I like the double layer concept but there is a lot of excess fabric at the side of both heels, which will likely lead to blisters on a long hike. The rest of the sock fits well. When I contacted customer service there was no response at all.
These Wright hiking socks are just as amazing as the Wright running socks I've been wearing for 20+ years. I came across Wright socks when I was training for a marathon and have been a true believer since. I had no idea Wright made hiking socks. I've gone thru many sets of hiking boots and normally always get a blister. So, when I got my newest pair, I did an exhaustive search online for anti-blister socks and came across Wright. I got two pair. They have an amazing inner lining. I wore them with a brand new (unbroken) pair of hiking boots and hiked a rugged 5 mile trail and -- NO BLISTERS, no tenderness, no nothing! I'll never get a different hiking sock again. Good job, Wright! I always tell people about you and now I'll tell them about this sock too!
Very comfortable on a long kike. I should probably get a couple more pairs and wear every day!
I’ve got blisters
After I place my order I noticed in a three month old pair of Wrightsock I had the stitching around the toes was loose and the two layers of socks was separating
I complained and got some waffle about this being normal

First time for me to try the "Merino Hike Crew”, and very happy I’ve tried it. I’ve worn Wrightsocks for many years, and have noted improvements over the years. I recently purchased 6 of the MERINO COOLMESH II CREW version. These were a bit more “stretchy” than the older version(s), but after a few wears, I’ve decided I prefer them to the older version.
This "Merino Hike Crew” is thicker, and and not “stretchy”, I like these best, and they will now be my “go to” sock for future purchases.
