I bought these socks for an upcoming trip and have been wearing them on my daily walk while I break in new shoes. Unfortunately, my very blister-prone feet still got blisters. I'm keeping the socks because they are quite warm and I really like them, but I would not expect miracles in blister prevention. Going to try these again with blister tape for my feet and hope this is my go-to for my upcoming trip. (I bought five pair, three of the heavy cushioning merino pair and those are especially nice) I am convinced "it's me, I'm the problem" because it does not seem to matter what shoes or blisterproof socks I wear, my feet are prone to them. I would recommend these socks.

Have always depended upon these socks to protect my hiking feet free of blistering. They do this however they are wearing through within a few months now. Not sure why this is happening. Maybe the quality of the material is changing.

Over the years, I have used several different brands of socks for hiking and backpacking. I discovered Wrightsocks a few years ago, and they are the only socks I use now. Pricey, but a great product.
